6 Commissioning
This chapter describes how to start up Marex 3D initially using
the standard system configuration supplied on delivery.
NOTICE! Along with the professional skills of a technician the
commissioning of Marex 3D requires expert knowledge on
Marex controls and marine propulsion systems.
O Make sure only qualified personnel as per chapter 2.4,
Personnel qualifications, on page 12 commissions
Marex 3D.
6.1 General
Before starting the operation of Marex3D, the system must be
adapted to the ship‘s requirements. It may be necessary to
modify settings for the operation with an existing Marex system.
The function of the overall system, MarexOS or ECS and
Marex3D combined, must be tested in a dry run and at sea.
