2.2 Thermal Definitions
Ths
This is the temperature of the outside surface of the module heat
spreader plate at point H (defined below).
Ths_max
This is the maximum temperature of the outside surface of the module
heat spreader plate.
Ths_min
This is defined as the minimum temperature allowed for the heat-
spreader of the Module. This temperature is directly tied to minimum
allowed junction temperatures of the chips that are in contact with the
heat spreader.
H
The point on the heat spreader where the heat spreader temperature
must be measured. See Figure 2-2 below.
Tpcb
This is the temperature on the surface of the module PCB at point P
(defined below).
Tpcb_max
The maximum temperature allowed for the surface of the module PCB
at point P (defined below).
Tpcb_min
This is defined as the minimum temperature allowed for the surface of
the module PCB.
P
The point on the module PCB where the PCB temperature must be
measured. See Figure 2-2 below.
