In the overlapped mode of operation, the acquisition for a new frame begins while the camera is
still completing the acquisition process for the previous frame. This situation is illustrated in
Figure 71.
The way that you operate the camera will determine whether the frame acquisitions are overlapped
or not. If we define the “frame period” as the time from the start of exposure for line one in the frame
N acquisition to the start of exposure for line one in frame N+1 acquisition, then:
