Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly
Attach Safety Stops and Proximity Target to Entrance Rails
1) Locate the two (2) Entrance Rail Safety Stops and a Proximity Target and fasteners, shown
below. Apply a small amount of Red Loc-Tite™ to the fasteners for the Safety Stops.
2) Secure the driver and passenger side Entrance Safety Stops to the end of each of the
Entrance Rails as follows:
➢ Orient the Safety Stops with the Stop Post pointing up so it will make contact with the
Rollers on the Carriage.
➢ The flange of the Safety Stop should mate up against the outer face each of the Rails.
➢ Insert the 3/8” bolts thru the pre-drilled holes at the end of the rails as shown below.
➢ Using the 3/8 x 4-1/2” bolts, washers and 3/8” lock nuts secure the Safety Stops to the
Entrance Rails.
3) Using the two (2) bolts and lock washers secure the Proximity Target to the inside face of the
driver side Entrance Rail as shown below.
In the Accessory Box for the
Frame Assembly locate the
parts shown in these images.
Secure the Entrance Safety Stops
to the Entrance Rails as described
above and shown in the images.
Note: Secure the Stops with the bolt
heads on the inside of rails
and nuts on outside of rails.
