3) Load ShineMitt® Cleaning Material onto Hubs
3a) Load ShineMitt® onto Side Wheel Hubs (cont.)
3) The ShineMitts® must be loaded onto the driver and passenger side Side Wheel Hubs
with the fingers of the ShineMitts® pointing in the opposite direction of one another. And,
the head of the Pin for the Clips must be pointing downward.
4) The ShineMitts® for the DS Side Wheels Hubs must be assembled as shown in the image
below on the left; there must be 80 pieces of the 19” and 16 pieces of the 22” ShineMitts®
assembled this way.
5) And, the ShineMitts® for the PS Side Wheel Hubs must be assembled as shown in the
image above on the right; there must be 80 pieces of the 19” and 16 pieces of the 22”
ShineMitts® assembled this way.
6) Before installing the cleaning material onto the Hub Assemblies inspect all the ShineMitt®
assemblies and sort them into two groups, driver side and passenger side assemblies.
7) If there are not an equal number of driver side and passenger side ShineMitts® in both the
19” and 22” lengths, then disassemble and reassemble as many ShineMitts® as necessary
to obtain equal amounts.
The driver side ShineMitts® are installed onto
the Hub in this orientation and the Pin should
have been assembled in this direction.
The passenger side ShineMitts® are installed
onto the Hub in this orientation and the Pin
should have been assembled in this direction.
