Chapter 6 Frame and Carriage Assembly
Carriage Placement on Frame Assembly: Preferred Method
10) Lower the Forks with the Shipping Frame and back the Forklift out of the bay. It is the
responsibility of the site to dispose or recycle the Shipping Frame.
11) Slide the Carriage all the way down to the End Stops on the Exit Rails and confirm the Cable
Carrier is completely in the CAT Track Trough, as shown above.
12) Locate the 3/8” Bolts and Fasteners that came with CAT Track Support Assembly. Apply anti-
seize to the bolt threads.
13) Secure the Angle Mount Bracket at the end of the Cable Carrier to the Middle L-Bracket with
the 3/8” Fasteners, refer to the image below.
14) Next, skip to the section, Attach Safety Stops and Proximity Target to Entrance Rails.

Secure the Angle Mount Bracket at the end of
the Cable Carrier to the Middle L-Bracket.
Step 13:
Locate 3/8” Fasteners and
apply anti-seize to threads.
Step 12:
Shipping Frame
Assembly
Slide Carriage down
to the Exit End Stops.
Step 11:
Remove the Shipping Frame
and Forklift from the bay.
Step 10:
Exit
