Jog Operation
The jog operation allows for a temporary control of the inverter. There are two was to apply a jog
and start command using the multi-function (digital) input terminals.
• Jog-1 using a digital input terminal set to JOG along with a start command (Fx or Rx).
• Jog-2 using a single digital input set to FWD JOG or REV JOG.
Jog Operation 1-Forward
The jog operation is available in the forward (or reverse) direction, using two input terminals (Fx
and JOG). The table below lists parameter settings for a forward jog operation with a separate Run
(Fx) command.

Forward Jog Description Details
Select 6 (JOG) function from In.65 ~ 69 for one of the inputs.

Set the operating frequency.
Set the acceleration speed.
Set the deceleration speed.
If a signal is applied to the jog terminal while running (FX applied), the operating frequency
changes to the jog frequency.
