Test Run
After the post-installation checklist has been completed, follow the instructions below to test the
inverter.
Verify Motor Rotation
If V1 is selected as the frequency reference source, does the reference change according to
the input voltage?
If I2 is selected as the frequency reference source, does the reference change according to
the input current?
Again, ensure that the motor rotates in the correct direction.
Ensure that the motor accelerates and decelerates according to the set times, and that the
motor speed reaches the reference frequency.
Turn on the power supply to the inverter. Ensure that the keypad display light is on.
On the keypad, set the drv parameter (command source) in the Operation group to 0 (Keypad).
Program 10.00 Hz. as a reference frequency.
Press the [RUN] key. Motor starts forward operation.
Observe the motor’s rotation from the load side and ensure that the motor rotates
counterclockwise (forward).
If rotation is not correct
Switch the cables at the U and V terminals.
If rotation is correct
Set the drv parameter to the final command source if not using the keypad for Start/Stop.
Set the Frq parameter (reference frequency source) to the final source (V1, I2, etc.) if not using
the keypad for reference frequency.
Set a reference frequency, and then check the following:
Set the acceleration and deceleration time.
Start the motor and check the following:
