7.3 Wiring of binary inputs
7.3.1 External potential-free contacts (non-active signals)
Note:
The setup parameter <Active Signal> MUST be given the setting „NO“.
Thereby the auxiliary voltage source for the BINARY-IN module is switched
on and supplies the necessary auxiliary power for the control circuit.
7.3.2 Active signals from external current sources (PNP open-
collector)
Note:
The setup parameter <Active Signal> MUST be given the setting „YES“.
Thereby the auxiliary voltage to the BINARY-IN module is switched off as
active signals do not require auxiliary power.
