3.6.4 Retaining plate
The retaining plate is inserted in the guide of the injec-
tor holder and provides support when clamping the
injector in the injector holder. There are various types
of retaining plate. These are only intended for clamping
commercial vehicle injectors.
i The appropriate retaining plate for the injector con-
cerned can be found in the system software EPS 945
in the "Component selection" window under "Gen-
eral values".

3.6.5 Connection adapter
The connection adapter supplies test oil to commercial
vehicle injectors with internal connections and dis-
charges the return quantity to the measuring device by
way of the connection (Fig. 7, item 1). There are differ-
ent types of connection adapter.

The high pressure pump supplies the injectors with test
oil during the test.
