4. Mark injectors in Tightness selection field for test
report and accept selection with <F12>.
5. Slip injection chamber injection nozzle and lock in
place.
6. Clamp injection chamber by tightening thumb screw.
7. Continue test with <F8>.
The "Caution" dialog window appears.
The "Settings" dialog window appears. Follow in-
structions on screen.
The EPS drive starts and the rail pressure rises
until the set value is reached.
Measuring time starts.
" Once the measuring time is over the software changes
automatically into the next test step.
6.2.4 Metering
! To perform correct metering the test steps for injec-
tor tempering and conditioning are essential. Skip-
ping test steps may lead to faulty measurements and
thus to faulty assessment of the injectors.
During the further test steps different load points are
applied and the injector injection quantities and return
quantities measured.
6.2.5 Ending injector test
1. Once the last test step has been completed finish
test with <F8>.
2. Call up results log with <F12>.
" Injector test finished.
