<Attachment Procedure>
1) Fold the first side CIS flat cable as shown in the illustration below.

2) Attach the two pieces of 12 mm x 12 mm double-sided tape to the document scanner
bottom cover ASSY at positions shown in the figure below. (If the old double-sided tape
remains attached, replace it with a new tape.)
