The Printhead nozzles are becoming clogged. If printing is faint, clean the Printhead . ( → P .626)

Cause Corrective Action
An incompatible Printhead has been installed. Install a Printhead specied for use with the printer .

Open the T op Cover . If the Carriage is over the
Platen , replace the Printhead with a new one.

There is a problem with the Printhead .
If, after opening the T op Cover , you see that the
Carriage is not over the Platen , follow the steps
below .
1. Close the T op Cover and press the Online button.
2. Replace the Printhead .
