SETUP AND CALIBRATION, CONT.
Type:
With Custom selected for Filtering:, the current setting for the Type: parameter will
be shown on the Total – Calibration – Filtering screen.
If the setting displayed is acceptable, press the ENTER key to proceed to the next screen
or the Navigation Keys Left Arrow to return to the previous screen.
Otherwise, press the SPACE key to toggle between the selections and then press the
ENTER key to save the new setting and proceed to the next screen. Allowable
selections are IIR or FIR.
(Infinite Impulse Response) – (same as previous custom filtering)
(Finite Impulse Response) – Better for high sample rates, high
speed weighing.
Filter Break:
With Custom selected for Filtering:, the current setting for the Filter Break:
parameter will be shown on the Total – Calibration – Filtering screen. The filter break
range is a number from 1 to 64 that corresponds to the number of division changes to
break out of the filtering. If the setting displayed is acceptable, press the ENTER key to
proceed to the next screen or the Navigation Keys Left Arrow to return to the previous
screen.
Otherwise, use the numeric keys to enter the value for filter break range and then press
the Down Arrow to advance to the next parameter or press the ENTER key to save the
new setting and proceed to the next screen. Allowable values are 0 to 64.
Filter Value:
With Custom selected for Filtering:, the current setting for the Filter Value:
parameter will be shown on the Total – Calibration – Filtering screen. The filter value is a
number from 1 to 255 that corresponds to the level of filtering with 255 being the greatest
filtering and 1 the least. If the setting displayed is acceptable, proceed to the next
parameter.
Otherwise, use the numeric keys to enter the value for the filter value and then press the
ENTER key to save the new setting and proceed to the next screen. Allowable values
are 0 to 255.
