CASECONSTRUCTIONwarrantstotheultimatepurchaserandeachsubsequentpurchaserthattheengineis
designed,builtandequippedsoastoconformwithU.S.EnvironmentalProtectionAgencyregulationsapplicable
atthetimeofmanufactureandthatitisfreefromdefectsinworkmanshipormaterialwhichwouldcauseitnot
tomeettheseregulationsforaperiodof:

5yearsor3,000hoursofoperation,whicheveroccursrst.
NOTE:ThiswarrantyappliestoallunitsoperatedintheUnitedStatesorCanada.
Coverage
Themodelyear,classofdieselengine,andemissionapplicationdeterminationforyourengineareidentiedonthe
EmissionControlInformationLabel.Thislabelisafxedtooneofthefollowingareasoftheengine:thetopofen-
gine'srockerarmcover,theright-handsideoftheoilpan,andtheright-handsideoftheenginefrontgearcover.
Thewarrantyperiodbeginsonthedatethenewequipmentissoldtotherstretailpurchaser.Thepresenceofthe
emissioncontrollabelistheindicationthattheengineconformstotheapplicablestandards.Anyemissioncontrol
systempartswhichareprovendefectiveduringnormalusewillberepairedorreplacedduringthewarrantyperiod.
TheengineownerhasresponsibilitytoperformalltherequiredmaintenancelistedintheOwner'sManual.CASE
CONSTRUCTIONwillnotdenyanemissionwarrantyclaimsolelybecausenorecordofmaintenanceexists;however,
aclaimmaybedeniediffailuretoperformmaintenanceresultedinthefailureofawarrantedpart.
ItisrecommendedthatreplacementpartsusedformaintenanceorrepairsbeCASECONSTRUCTIONServiceParts
tomaintainthequalityoriginallydesignedintoyouremissioncertiedengine.Theuseofnon-CASECONSTRUC-
TIONpartsdoesnotinvalidatethewarrantyonothercomponentsunlesstheuseofsuchpartscausesdamageto
warrantedparts.
Themanufacturerisliablefordamagestootherenginecomponentscausedbythefailureofanywarrantedemission
controlsystempart.CASECONSTRUCTIONisnotresponsibleforfailuresresultingfromimproperrepairortheuse
ofpartsthatarenotgenuineCASECONSTRUCTIONorCASECONSTRUCTIONapprovedparts.
