POWER PLANT LIMITATIONS (Continued)
Propeller System Operating Limits:
An overspeed governor check shall be performed before the first
flight of the day, after engine control system maintenance, or if
adjustment has been made.
Engine Control Operating Limits:
Flight operation with the power lever retarded below the IDLE
position is prohibited. Such positioning may lead to loss of airplane
control or may result in an engine overspeed condition and
consequent loss of engine power.
Operation of the emergency power lever is prohibited with the power
lever out of the IDLE position.
Engine Starting Cycle Limits:

30 seconds ON - 60 seconds OFF.
30 seconds ON
- 60 seconds OFF,
30 seconds ON
- 30 minutes OFF,
Repeat the above cycle as required

Using external power, the starting cycle shall be limited to the
following intervals and sequence:
20 seconds ON
- 120 seconds OFF,
20 seconds ON
- 120 seconds OFF,
20 seconds ON
- 60 minutes OFF.
Repeat the above cycle as required.
