To
use the restraint system, lengthen each half of the belt as necessary
by Dulling the buckle (or connecting link) to the lao with one hand wnile
puliing outward on the narrow adjuster strap
with'the other nand. Insert
the left belt
l:nk into the left slot of the buckle. Bring the crotch stra~
upward and insert its link into the bottom slot in t6e buckle. Finally,
Dosition each stra~ of the shoulder harness over the shoulders and
insert
thew links inio the upper slots in the buckle. the sear belts should
be tightened for a
snug fit bv arasoina the free end of eacn belt and

pulling up and inward.
During flight operations, the inertia reel allows complete freedom
of
upper body movement; however, in the event of a sudden deceleration,
the reel will lock automatically to protect the occupant.

To release the belts, strap, and harnesses, simply twist the front section
of the buckle in either direction and pull all connecting links free.
