Regular Inspection of ASXPRESS PLUS Components
It is important to verify that all system components are in good working order
and are undamaged prior to operation.
Visually inspect these components:
 Valve/pump module:
 6-port valve
 Vacuum pump ports
 Electronics module
 Peristaltic pump on the autosampler
 Tubing— pay special attention to all tubing to ensure that no kinks exist, as
this condition will impair proper performance of the ASX
PRESS PLUS system
by reducing flow rates. Check that tubing is not rubbing against moving
parts.
 Cables
If you detect a leak or other damage to any ASX
PRESS PLUS Rapid Sample
Introduction System component, you must replace it.
