Enabling/Disabling the Internet Connection
You can temporarily disable an Internet connection. This is useful if, for example, you are
going on vacation and do not want to leave your computer connected to the Internet. If you
have two Internet connections, you can force the UTM-1 appliance to use a particular
connection, by disabling the other connection.
The Internet connection’s Enabled/Disabled status is persistent through UTM-1 appliance
reboots.
To enable/disable an Internet connection
1. Click Network in the main menu, and click the Internet tab.
The Internet page appears.
2. Next to the Internet connection, do one of the following:
• To enable the connection, click
.
The button changes to
and the connection is enabled.
• To disable the connection, click
.
The button changes to
and the connection is disabled.
