Configuring System Settings
A password must comply with the following
requirements:
 It cannot contain username or reversed
username.
 It cannot contain any of the following strings:
cisco, sciatl, ocsic, ltaics, atlsci, icslta, or any
string achieved by full or partial capitalization
of letters.
 No letter is repeated more than three times in a
row.
 Must contain a minimum of four characters.
A password must comply with the following
requirements:
 It cannot contain username or reversed

string achieved by full or partial capitalization
of letters.
 No letter is repeated more than three times in a
row.
 Must contain a minimum of eight characters.
 Must contain a minimum of three of the
following types of characters: capital letters,
small letters, digits, and special characters.
Note: The complexity level changes will only affect the new user accounts and
password changes. It will not affect existing passwords. Any changes take effect
immediately, and do not require the use of the Apply button.
To change your login password:
Note: You are allowed to only modify your own password.
1 The Change Password for User field displays the password for the current login.
2 In the Enter Current Password field, enter the current login password.
3 In the Enter New Password field, enter the new login password.
4 In the Re-enter New Password field, type the new login password again to
confirm. Once the password change is successful, the user will be directed to the
login screen to re-enter their username and password.
