To Program Loop Calling on Analogue system Lines
All Analogue lines are programmed by default to use standard Analogue signalling. You can
program your Analogue lines to use Loop Calling if required. The benefit of having lines
programmed for Loop Calling is that the line will not be disconnected by the switch if a digit is not
dialled.
From the Programming Station, press the PROGRAM Key
Press the Scroll Down Key () until ‘System programming’ is displayed
Select ‘System programming
Enter the System Programming Password
Select ‘Lines
Press the Scroll Down Key () until ‘PSTN' programming’ is displayed
Select ‘PSTN programming’
Select ‘Loop calling’
A menu showing the Analogue lines will be presented. The lines using Loop Calling
are indicated by a . Those using the standard signalling are indicated by a . Select
the lines as required.
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
Note: Last number Redial, Call Barring, Saved Number, System and Personal Speed Dial will
not work on the lines allocated as Loop Calling.
Programming Reversal on Idle
On standard Analogue lines on the Commander Connect the Reversal on Idle option is
programmed. The system can then detect when callers go on hook and automatically clear
down lines. This supervision on lines enables the trunk to trunk services to be available on the
lines.
If Reversal on Idle is turned off then the trunk to trunk services are Timed to drop after 5 minutes
as the system cannot detect when calls have been completed.
From the Programming Station, press the PROGRAM Key
Press the Scroll Down Key () until ‘System programming’ is displayed
Select ‘System programming
Enter the System Programming Password
Select ‘Lines
Press the Scroll Down Key () until ‘PSTN programming’ is displayed
Select ‘PSTN programming’
Press the Scroll Down Key () until 'Reversal on Idle' is displayed
Select ‘Reversal on Idle' The lines with Reversal on Idle programmed are indicated
with a .
Note: For this feature to operate, it also needs to be enabled by your network provider.
