To retrieve your Voicemail box messages remotely
In order to access your Voicemail box remotely you must have your calls diverted to your
Voicemail box, and have either a Line programmed to ring directly at your Station, or have a
Line programmed with the Auto-attendant service (See page 79). You can also have your call
transferred to your voice Mailbox: If a Line is programmed to ring directly at your Station and
your Voicemail box is turned on, dial the Line number. If you do not have a Line ringing
directly to your Station dial in on an Auto-attendant Line, and when you receive the Auto-
attendant message dial your Station number. Call in on a line which you know will be
answered and have the call transferred to your Mailbox
When answered by your Voicemail greeting, access your Voicemail box by dialling the code
711, followed by your Station number, Voicemail Password and #.
Then dial the following numbers to access your messages:
While listening to the Greeting
Dial 1 Playback commences at the first message
Dial 91 To select your primary greeting
Dial 92 To select your alternate greeting
When primary or alternate greeting has been selected, choose any of following options:
Dial 1 To Record your greeting
Dial 2 To Check your greeting
Dial 3 To Delete your greeting
Dial * To Exit
When playback of messages has commenced
Dial # Playback is paused
Dial 1 For more information
Dial 2 Save this message and move to the next message
Dial 3 Erase this message and move to the next message
Dial 4 Go back to the start of the message
Dial 5 Go back to the previous message
Dial 6 Erase all messages
Dial 7 Go back ten seconds
Dial 8 Go forward ten seconds / Skip the time stamp
Dial 9 Forward the message to another Station
Dial 0 Return Call. Automatically make a call to the caller who left the message (this
feature is not applicable when mail box is accessed remotely).

Dialling # when Listening to a Standard Mailbox Greeting
When listening to a greeting from an Station, system or phantom mailbox where messages can
be left, the greeting is skipped and the record tone is returned. The caller uses # to skip the
greeting and start to leave a message immediately.
