Background music
This feature allows a Station to have music played over the speaker of a Keystation while the
Station is idle. This background music is supplied only if there is an external music source
connected to the system via the Options module or a music on hold station interface. This
background music is disconnected as soon as the user goes off hook or a call is presented to
the Station.
From your Keystation, press the PROGRAM Key
Press the Scroll Down Key () until ‘Background Music’ is displayed
Select the required option – ‘Background music on’ or Background music off’.
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
INT STN Order
This feature allows you to display the station names on your phone in alphabetical or physical
order.
From your Keystation, press the PROGRAM Key
Press the Scroll Down Key () until ‘INT STN Order’ is displayed
Select the required option – ‘Sort Physical’ or ‘Sort Alpha’ (alphabetical).
Press the Hands-free Key to finish programming.
Do Not Disturb
If your Station is set to ‘Do Not Disturb’, anyone trying to call you will receive a busy (engaged)
tone. If the person trying to contact you has a Keystation, ‘Do Not Disturb Enabled’ will appear
on its 'Display'. ‘Call Back’ and ‘Reminder Call’ are the only incoming ringing that will be
accepted when this feature is set.
To set Do Not Disturb on your Station
From the Idle Menu, press the Scroll Down Key () until ‘Do Not Disturb’ is displayed
Select ‘Do Not Disturb’
Note: ‘Do Not Disturb' is unavailable on Station 20: the operator position.
To cancel Do Not Disturb on your Station
From the Idle Menu, Select ‘Cancel do-not-disturb’. This option is displayed only when
the feature is set.
Note: When ‘Do Not Disturb’ is set, you will hear a broken dial tone when you lift the Handset.
From a standard telephone, the code 736 is used to set and cancel this feature.
