Front Panel Cable
J5 Connector
(Ethernet Port B)
When connected to the front panel of the CHAMP-AV8, CBL-462-FPL-000 provides access to
Ethernet Port B via the J5 connector on the cable, on boards with the front panel Ethernet
factory build option. The pin assignments of the J5 (Female RJ45) modular jack are as follows:

SW1 Reset
Pushbutton
When connected to the front panel of the CHAMP-AV8, CBL-462-FPL-000 provides access to a
reset function via the SW1 Pushbutton on the cable. The pin assignments of SW1 pushbutton
are as follows:

To facilitate connections to the interfaces on the CHAMP-AV8 via the backplane, a Rear
Transition Module (RTM6-462-000) has been developed. For detailed information about the
interfaces and configuration controls provided by the RTM, please refer to “Rear Transition
Module (RTM)” on page A-52.
