1.
Pull the parking brake lever (2) up
with the brake pedals depressed fully
to engage the pedals with the latch.
If the braking force is insucient, de-
press the pedals more rmly.
2. Before leaving the tractor after
parking it, make sure to stop the
PTO, lower the implement onto the
ground, and stop the engine.
3. If it is necessary to leave the tractor
with the engine running, put all the
shift levers in the neutral position
and apply the parking brake rmly.
4. When parking the tractor on a
slope, stop the engine with the
parking brake applied and all gears
engaged in the low speed position.
5. If it is necessary to park the tractor
on a slope with the engine run-
ning, apply the parking brake and
chock(1) all four wheels.
6. To release the parking brake, de-
press the brake pedals rmly once
again.
WARNING
•
The brake pad can be rapidly worn
if you drive with the parking brake
applied.
•
Never park the tractor on a
steep slope in any circum-
stance. A severe accident can
occur.
WARNING
To avoid possible injury, death or
loss of property from a machine
runaway:
•
With the engine o, the tractor
may move unexpectedly regard-
less of the gear shift position.
Before leaving the tractor, cer-
tainly apply the parking brake to
prevent machine runaway.
