PTO SWITCH (ON / OFF)
The PTO switch is used to supply
power from the tractor to the imple-
ment.
Make sure to put this switch into the
“OFF” position before starting the en-
gine. Otherwise, the engine cannot
be started.
The rear PTO rotates at 540 rpm
when the engine speed is approx.
2,444 rpm.
To activate the PTO, press and turn
the switch clockwise. To deactivate it,
press the switch once.
CAUTION
To avoid personal injury and ac-
cident:
• Before disassembling or clean-
ing the PTO system, make sure
that the PTO switch is in the
“OFF” position, the engine
is stopped, and all parts are
stopped.
• Always keep the PTO driving
part clean. Also, check the PTO
cover is closed while PTO is in
operation.
• Disengage the PTO while driv-
ing the tractor on the public
road.
• Be careful not to get your hand,
foot, cloth, or hair into any
driving part while the PTO is in
operation. You can be severely
injured.
Make sure that no one is around
the tractor and implement while
the PTO is in operation.
CAUTION
To protect the catalyst lter, keep
the followings:
• Make sure to use only specied
fuel.
• Keep the engine oil replace-
ment schedule.
• Check the engine oil level fre-
quently to keep it to the speci-
ed level.
• Avoid any unnecessary engine
idling.
• Never stop the engine during
driving.
• Never place the shift lever in the
neutral position when driving
downhill.
• Do not use any engine oil ad-
ditive.
• Avoid driving with any warning
lamp illuminated.
• Do not allow any ammable ma-
terials, such as dry grass and
paper, to come near the catalyst
lter while parked.
