12. Chock the frame in order to re-
move the weight from the tires.
13. Install the cover to the exhaust
pipe.
14. Attach a tag onto the tractor to
inform the storage condition of
the tractor.
15. If the tractor is equipped with an
air-conditioner system, start the
engine and activate the air-con-
ditioner system once a month.
17. Interlock the brake pedals and
apply the parking brake.
1. Check the tire air pressure and in-
atethetiresiftheyarelow.
2. Install the battery. Check that the
battery is fully charged before in-
stalling it.
3. Check the fan belt tension.
4.Check all uid levels. (Engine oil,
transmission/hydraulic oil, and en-
gine coolant)
5. Remove grease from the exposed
cylinder rod.
6. Apply grease to the lubrication
points.
7. Depress the clutch pedal and undo
the latch hook.
8. Get onto the tractor and start the
engine.
9. Check if the instrument panel and
all parts operate correctly while run-
ning the engine for a few minutes.
USING TRACTOR AFTER
LONGTERM STORAGE
CAUTION
To avoid injury:
Never clean the tractor body
while the engine is running.
Never run the engine in an
enclosed area without proper
ventilation system in order to
prevent poisoning by exhaust
gas.
When storing the tractor, re-
move the key from the switch
and store it separately in order
to prevent an unauthorized per-
son from operating the tractor
and being injured.
Cover the tractor after the muf-
er and the engine have cooled
down.
If the battery is not to be re-
moved, disconnect its negative
terminal at least. The wiring can
be gnawed by rodents, leading
to a re.
