UPnP Config 7.12
Universal Plug and Play, a protocol that establishes mapping relation between local area and
wide area networks. This function enables you to visit local area device through wide area IP
address.
This function is valid only when VTO works as SIP server.
This function is needed only when the VTO is connected to a router.
Enable the UPnP function of the router, and then configure the IP address of the WAN port
to set up Internet connection.
Connect your device to the LAN port of the router.
Select System Config > UPnP Config, and then the Common Config interface is displayed.

7.12.2 Enabling UPnP
There have been some mapping relations done in the factory; you can enable to use them.
Select UPnP Enable to enable UPnP function. Step 1
Select the service you need to map. Step 2
Click OK to save. Step 3
Open the web browser on PC and enter "http:// wide area IP address: external port
number", and then you can visit the local area device with corresponding port.
7.12.3 Adding Service
You can add new mapping relations.
Click Add. Step 1
The Add interface is displayed. See Figure 7-43.
