The SC5100 Controller key functions include:
Cluster management and Host interface of a multi-sided reading tunnel based on
EBC (Matrix 320 connection via EBC Connector box) and Ethernet;
Automatic procedure for scanner and bus controller replacement;
Easy to use diagnostics on the reading station, based on LEDs and display
Easy remote access to all of the reading station information, thanks to built-in
Ethernet (all models) and fieldbus (Profibus or Profinet models) connectivity
Single and Redundant System configurations;
Integration with Dimensioners and Vision Systems; SC5100's efficiency in hybrid
solutions
Collects and consolidates data
Provides systems diagnostics
Energy Saving allows turning on/off the motors and lasers of all network scanners
according to the selected digital input, encoder, or communication channel.
2 Configurable I/Os, Tach and Trigger, 2 EBCs, 1 Sync In, 1 Sync Out, 4 Ethernet, 2
USB ports.
The simple and sturdy mechanical structure makes the SC5100 Controller the ideal
solution for industrial environments.
Fully compatible with DS8110 and DX8210 scanners.
Trigger and Encoder/Tach PNP inputs are available via M12 circular connectors
Connects to two CBX boxes
SD Expansion slot
Communicates with a variety of customer protocols

NOTE: The SC5100 distributes trigger and encoder to all devices connected
to the EBC or Sync net interfaces. Connecting trigger and encoder to those
devices using another CBX is not necessary.
