Auxiliary Serial
The auxiliary serial interface is equipped with RS232 interface connections. In addition
to being an alternative serial interface, it can be used to connect a hand held readers to
the reading system in a pass through configuration. data transmission can be enabled or
disabled on the interface through the configuration parameters.
The 9-pin connector is normally used for quick/temporary connection. For a more per-
manent connection you can also use the CBX Box’s spring clamp connectors, in particu-
lar the positions labeled RX, AUX, TX, AUX and SGND AUX.
