SAFETY REGULATIONS

Do not connect or remove clamps, fuses, or
connectors when the vehicle is switched on or
electrically powered.
Any intervention on the electric system must take
place with the vehicle not powered electrically.
Restore the power supply only after the intervention
has been concluded. Remount the lids and
protections.
Use the battery isolation switch to cut off power
to the vehicle.
Cut off power by means of the battery isolation
switch even before replacing the vehicle battery.
In the event that a connector is damaged or is no
longer inserted in its housing, replace it
immediately in order to avoid short circuits or
sparks.
Damaged, pinched or burnt cables must be replaced
immediately even if damage is only to the sheathing
or outer insulation.
Never carry out or interrupt any connection on
the load circuit, including connections on the
battery, with the engine running.
Never ground (earth) short circuit any charging
component.
Do not use an auxiliary battery with nominal
voltage exceeding 12 volt.
Make sure the polarity is correct when putting in
the battery or when using an auxiliary battery
when starting the vehicle with cables. Follow the
use and maintenance instructions of the manual
when starting up the vehicle with cables.
