Loading Document on Document Glass Plate

Gently open the “document cover”.

Position the document on the document glass
plate.
Place the “document face down” on the document
glass plate,aligned with the guide (scale).
The document can be loaded in the “portrait” or “landscape” position.
"A4, B5, and A5-size documents can be loaded in the
“
portrait
”
or
“
landscape
”
position.

Use the landscape position when enlarging or reducing from standard-size
documents to standard-size paper, such as A4 to A3.
"
A3 and B4 documents can only be loaded in the landscape position.

When you place a thick document such as a
book on the document glass plate, take care not
to force the document cover as this may
damage the document glass plate with a risk of
personal injury.
