Checking / adjusting belt tension:
A
The tension of the V-belt must be
checked and set after the belt has been
replaced.
- The tension of the belt can only be ad-
justed using a pre-tensioning test de-
vice.
Specified belt tension levels:
- Generator 17KVA:
- Deflection force, min: 101.4N
- Deflection force, max: 110.6N
- Belt deflection approx. 9.9mm
- Generator 20KVA:
- Deflection force, min: 72.4N
- Deflection force, max: 79.0N
- Belt deflection approx. 5.4mm
- Generator 28KVA:
- Deflection force, min: 92.2N
- Deflection force, max: 100.5N

Belt deflection approx. 5.4mm
If necessary, adjust the belt tension:
- Set belt to correct tension using
clamping lock (B).
- Retighten both lock nuts (A).
