Installation example 3
1 Injection valve / metering valve
2 External release
3 Solenoid valve
4 Pressure control valve
When metering in pipes with a vacuum, a pressure control valve (pos. 4) is
to be installed in the metering line.
A pressure-retention valve or metering valve is not a shut-off device which is
absolutely tight sealing.
In order to prevent the metering medium from escaping while the pump is
stopped, we also recommend installing a solenoid valve (pos. 3), which is
released with the pump.
Installation example 4
1 Overflow valve
2 Injection valve / metering valve
The metering point should not be positioned below the supply container as
this creates a risk of the supply container being siphoned empty
.
Installation example 5
Suction lines should be kept as short as possible.
Long and intertwined suction lines can lead to accumulation of air in the
system.
The suction height must be a max. of 2 m and the maximum flow rate is
max. 0.3 m/s!
