5.3.1. Boom deployment assistance with Progress
Progress prevents the operator to move the 2nd boom and
extensions in the wrong direction when operating the crane
into or out of transport position.
• Operating the crane to transport position:
When the angle ß is >135º between the horizontal and 2nd
boom, the system does not allow to raise the 2nd boom or
to move extensions out/in.
• Operating the crane out of transport position:
When the angle ß is <135º between the horizontal and 2nd
boom, the 2nd boom and extensions can move without any
restrictions.
