6.24 Replacing the backup battery
In case a battery warning appears, you will have to change the backup battery which is located on the
Main Board. To change the battery you will have to remove the Terminal Board which is stacked on top of
the Main Board.
Make sure that a button battery of type 3V CR 1632 lithium is used.
To replace the Backup Battery:
1. Turn off power supply by disconnecting external switch.
2. Remove the Terminal Board as described in “Exchanging the terminal board” on page 110.
3. Locate the Backup battery on the Main Board.
4. Replace the battery with a button battery of type 3V CR 1632 lithium. Ensure that the battery is
placed with the + side facing up.
5. Replace the Terminal Board.
6. Set date and time (see “Setting the real-time clock” on page 146).
