6.20 License upgrade
Upgrading the current license of a Rosemount
™
2460 requires that the system hub is in standalone
mode. Prior to license upgrading, redundant system hubs must be unpaired as described in “To unpair
redundant system hubs” on page 141. Both system hubs need to be upgraded.
6.20.1 Upgrade procedure
To upgrade the license of a Rosemount 2460:
1. Open the Web Graphical User Interface (GUI). See section “Using the web interface” on page 114) for
more information on how to use the Web GUI.
2. Verify that the system hub is in standalone mode, otherwise unpair the devices as described in “To
unpair redundant system hubs” on page 141. Once the two system hubs are upgraded you can pair
them again to reset the redundant system.
3. Select the License menu option.
4. Expand Order new options.
5. Under New license choose the desired options.
6. Click the Generate button. A report is generated with the current license information.
