Entering a time constant defines how the frequency output signal reacts to
severely fluctuating measured variables, either very quickly (enter a low time
constant) or with damping (enter a high time constant).

OPERATION MODE function (4200).
For safety reasons it is advisable to ensure that the frequency output assumes a
predefined state in the event of a fault. The setting you select here affects only the
frequency output. It has no effect on other outputs and the display (e.g. totalizers).
Options:
0 = FALLBACK VALUE
Output is 0 Hz.
1 = FAILSAFE VALUE
Output is the frequency specified in the FAILSAFE VALUE function (4211).
2 = HOLD VALUE
Measuring value output is based on the last measuring value saved before the
error occurred.
3 = ACTUAL VALUE
Measured value output is based on the current flow measurement. The fault is
ignored.
