Input allocation of the CAS_IN_D, RCAS_IN_D, OUT_D, SP_D parameters
Example for the control of positive zero return via the Discrete Output function
block.
The following example shows how the positive zero return for channel 1 can be
activated or deactivated by an upstream function block via the Discrete Output function
block during a cleaning procedure.
1. In the first step, the connection between the Discrete Output function block and the
Transducer Blocks must be established. For this, the value "16" (= Discrete Output)
must be assigned to the CHANNEL parameter.
2. In the CAS operating mode, the Discrete Output function block processes the
setpoint value prescribed at the CAS_IN_D input from an upstream function block
and transfers it to the Transducer Blocks.
Activating the positive zero return, channel 1
With a starting value of 0 (Discrete state 0), the positive zero return is activated by a
status change from 0
→ 2 at the CAS_IN_D input.
Deactivating the positive zero return, channel 1
The positive zero return for channel 1 can only then be deactivated when the input
value at CAS_IN_D has first been set to output value 0 (Discrete state 0). Only then
can the positive zero return be deactivated again through a status change from
0
→ 3 at the CAS_IN_D input.
