1 Operation via FOUNDATION Fieldbus PROline Prosonic Flow 93 FOUNDATION Fieldbus
88 Endress+Hauser
The sensor signal is first prepared in the measuring block, namely the Transducer Block
TRANSDUCER_ CH1 (base index 1200, flow channel 1) or TRANSDUCER_ CH2
(base index 1300, flow channel 2).
The process variables are then passed to the Analog Input function blocks for technical
processing, (e.g. scaling, limit value processing).
The totalizer values 1 3 are derived from the volume flow measured variable in the
Transducer Block TRANSDUCER_ TOT (base index 1550, totalizer).
These are then also available as process variables at the Transducer Block output.
All the important parameters for configuring the local display, (e.g. UI language, display
values etc.), can be configured via the Transducer Block TRANSDUCER_ DISP (base
index 1500, display).
The Transducer Block TRANSDUCER_ DIAG (base index 1600, diagnosis) contains
all the important parameters for diagnosis and device maintenance which can be used
to call up the device status or reasons for error messages, for example.
The Transducer Block TRANSDUCER_ SERV (base index 1650, service) contains all
the parameters required for servicing. As these parameters affect the accuracy and
functionality of the device, changes may only be made by E+H service technicians.
The process variables go through the complete algorithm of the Analog Input function
block and are available to other function blocks, e.g. the PID Block, as an output value
for connecting the desired application function.
By means of the Discrete Output function block (DO), various actions and functions in
PROline Prosonic Flow 93 FOUNDATION Fieldbus can be initiated or controlled via the
FOUNDATION Fieldbus, such as resetting the totalizers, for example.
