5.6.5 NVRAM CLEAR OK
After replacing the MAIN BOARD ASSY, make sure to perform NVRAM CLEAR
OK following the procedure below.
Procedure
1. Enter the Serviceman Mode.
Turn the printer ON while pressing [Pause/Reset] + [Paper Feed ] +
[Menu] simultaneously.
2. “WARNING!!! NVRAM CLEAR OK?” appears.
3. Press the [Enter] button to clear NVRAM. It takes a few second to complete
the process.

C A U T I O N
Once the NVRAM is cleared, the printer launches the startup
sequence. In this case, follow the steps below. Because the CR
Origin is not defined, the sequence runs endlessly as the printer
cannot find the origin.
1. Press the [Menu] button (right) a few times after a few seconds
until the test menu appears.
2. Set the CR Origin or register the previous board's NVRAM.
