5.8.2 CR Durability Test
This test should be performed after replacing the LOWER BEARING to confirm the
LOWER BEARING is securely installed.
 Procedure
1. Enter the Serviceman Mode.
Turn the printer ON while pressing [Pause/Reset] + [Paper Feed ] +
[Menu] simultaneously.
2. When SELF TESTING is displayed, press the [Enter] button.
3. Select Life => CR Motor.
4. Select Speed CW => 400CPS, and press the [Enter] button.
5. Select Speed CCW => 400CPS, and press the [Enter] button.
6. Select Paper Size => 1850mm, and press the [Enter] button.
7. Select Head Fan => ON, and press the [Enter] button.
8. Press or button until 10 is displayed.
9. Press the ENTER button.The carriage starts moving.
10. The carriage stops after ten back-and-forth cycles. Turn the power off if no
abnormal noise or abnormality is observed.
