● Feeding during and after slip paper printing
As soon as the paper is detected, the count for the ON
timing starts in the electronic circuit. After the prescribed
count is reached, the platen switching solenoid is automati-
cally turned on. When current is supplied to the platen
switching solenoid, the platen holder unit moves in the
direction of ➡ A and the intermediate drive roller set built
into the platen holder unit contacts the intermediate holder
roller set so that the slip paper is sandwiched. The slip
paper is then fed upwards by the rotation of the intermedi-
ate drive roller and intermediate holder roller sets.
When the cut sheet sensor detects the end of the slip paper,
it turns off the current supply to the paper holder switching
solenoid, causing the V feed roller set to move in the
direction of ➡ B until it contacts the V holder roller set,
thereby sandwiching the slip paper. The feeding of the slip
paper due to the rotation of the V feed roller set continues
until the edge of the printable area on the slip is reached
exactly.
Note that when the slip paper is fed, current is supplied to
the clutch mechanism mounted on the J paper feed roller
shaft set (before current is supplied to the paper feed motor
set), so that the paper roll is not fed forward.

● Feeding the slip paper to the printing position
Slide the slip paper onto the document table, pushing it into
the unit as far as it will go. The leading edge of the slip
paper turns on the cut sheet sensor, and the paper stops at
the form stopper set.
At this point, if current is supplied to the paper holder
switching solenoid, the paper holder lever set moves in the
direction of ➡ A, and the slip paper is sandwiched by the
S feed roller and S holder roller. At the same time, the form
stopper set linked to a part of the paper holder lever set
moves in the direction of ➡ B, and the stopper portion of the
form stopper set moves out of the paper path so that the
leading edge of the slip paper is freed and is thus able to be
fed forward.
