3.1.5 Inserting Cut Sheet and Printing on
Cut Sheet
Inserting cut sheet
Note:
Be sure to install the paper roll in the printer, even if you
plan to print only on slip paper or on validation paper. This
will prevent paper jams. You can also prevent paper jams
by using only flat paper, without wrinkles, creases, or folds.
(1) Send ESC c 0 command from the computer, so that the
printer enters cut sheet mode. When the printer enters
cut sheet mode, the VALIDATION/SLIP indicator
flashes.
(2) When the VALIDATION/SLIP indicator flashes, insert
the slip paper or validation paper into the correspond-
ing paper inlet. Make sure you insert the paper into the
inlet as far as it will go.
(3) For slip paper, the paper will automatically be drawn in
and printing will begin. For validation paper, printing
will begin immediately after the paper is inserted.
Note
When the VALIDATION/SLIP indicator flashes (this de-
pends on the application software), remove the paper from
the paper path.
