5.2 DISASSEMBLY
This section describes disassembly procedures for replacing the following three parts:
• Fuse
• Print head unit
• J guide assembly B (cutter blade)
For other disassembly procedures, refer to Section 5.3,

Whole Unit
Assembly
. The disassembly procedures are basically the reverse of the assembly steps described in these sections.
5.2.1 Removing the Fuse

Disassembly Procedure
• Turn over the printer
• Remove the screws from the Plate-Base assembly.
• Remove the GND plate fastening screw, and release the Plate-Base assembly from the tab of the GND
plate.
• Remove the Plate-Base assembly from the Case-Main; then disconnect all connectors connected to the
Plate-Base assembly.
