■ Installing the Network Scanner Admin Tool
To configure the scanner settings via the network interface, the network scanner admin tool must
first be installed on PC.
1. Specify the scanner name as a URL in the web browser's location bar.
For example, when the scanner name is "SCAN001":
http://SCAN001/
An IP address can be specified instead of a scanner name for the URL.
If the IP address is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, the specified URL is
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/.
⇒ The "Login" screen appears.
2. Enter a "User Name" and "Password".
Enter "admin" for the user name.
Passwords must be between 7 and 127 characters long.
Alphanumeric characters (case sensitive) and symbols may be entered.
