5-4-4 Front Board Assembly (FB)
5-4-4-1 General Description
The FB Board has 64 identical receive channels.
The signal in each channel is fed via a Transmit/Receive (T/R) switch to a preamplifier. The next step
is a Time Controlled Gain (TGC) amplifier used to equalize the signal strength from the near-field, the
mid-field and the far-field.
