5-5-2 Central Processing Unit (CPU)
The CPU controls and processes the internal Back End Processor operations. In addition, the CPU
supports the Front End Crate via the IP card. The CPU used in the Vivid 3N ultrasound unit is a Pentium
4, 4.2GHz Intel Processor, or newer. On older units (Pentium III) the CPU is I GHz.
