5-3-1 Purpose of this section
The purpose of this section is to give you an overview of VIVID E9 and how it function.
5-3-2 Introduction
The VIVID E9 ultrasound unit is a high performance digital ultrasound imaging system with total data
management.
The system provides image generation in 4D, 2D (B) Mode, Color Doppler, Power Doppler (Angio), M-
Mode, Color M-Mode, PW and CW Doppler spectra, Tissue Velocity imaging, advanced Strain and
Contrast applications. The fully digital architecture of the VIVID E9 unit allows optimal usage of all
scanning modes and probe types, throughout the full spectrum of operating frequencies.
