Sorting the Cutting Data
When sorting cutting data, cutting is performed collectively so that the amount of movement in the media feed
direction and the tool replacement time are minimized, so cutting operation is improved efciently.
The data of pen plunger (Condition No. 1) is plotted rst, and then the data of cutter plunger (Condition No. 2 to
No. 8) plotted (cut).
Supplement
•
Sorting will start the process after all the data are stored in the buffer memory, so it takes time to start the cutting.
•
Sorting might not be effective for the data that is created efciently.
•
Process may be faster to turn off the sorting on the plotter, if the data is already sorted using the software on the PC.
Operation

Press the [PAUSE/MENU] key.
MENU screen is displayed.

Press the [1] key (TOOL).
TOOLS SETTING screen (1/4) is displayed.

Press the POSITION ( ) key.
TOOLS SETTING screen (2/4) is displayed.

Press the [2] key (DATA SORTING).
DATA SORTING screen is displayed.
